The short version: SomaFlow collects no personal data. The long version is below, and it stays short because there genuinely isn’t much to say.

What the app collects

Nothing. SomaFlow has no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking SDKs. We never see your name, your email, or anything about how you use the app.

Where your data lives

Everything the app creates — your settings, custom breathing techniques, and session history — is stored locally on your device and never transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app deletes the data.

Network use

SomaFlow makes no network requests in normal use. The one exception: like many apps, it may occasionally download app updates from our app-update provider. That is a one-way download of code — nothing about you or your usage is sent along with it.

This website

This site runs no analytics and sets no cookies. The fonts are bundled into the site and served from it directly — not pulled from a third-party font service — so opening these pages doesn’t reach out to anyone else.

The one exception is the donation button on the feedback page, which uses Stripe to process payments. Opening that page loads Stripe’s code, which may set its own cookies for fraud prevention. If you don’t open the feedback page, none of that runs. Stripe handles your card details — we never see them, and their privacy policy covers what they collect.

The feedback form is the one place the site takes anything in: what you write there — and your email, if you include one — is sent to us through our host (Netlify) so we can read it and reply.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask through the form on the feedback page and we’ll get back to you.
